How It Works

Our Industrial Water Treatment System Fabrication Process

01

RFQ Review & Drawings

We review your drawings and specs to accurately price the work. If drawings aren’t provided, our team prepares detailed 3D Revit models before pricing begins.

A person interacts with a computer screen displaying a technical 3D schematic. The background shows a blurred, modern industrial workspace.
02

Quotation & Project Setup

A formal quote is issued covering scope and delivery timelines. Once authorized, your project is assigned a job number, materials are ordered, and fabrication drawings are submitted for your approval.

A person writes on architectural plans with a pen, surrounded by a calculator, rolled blueprints, and a tablet. The scene conveys focus and precision.
03

Material Receiving & Inspection

All incoming materials are inspected against your specifications before anything moves to the shop floor.

04

Fit-Up & Welding

Components go through fit-up before proceeding to welding, with our fitters and welders working collaboratively throughout.

Worker in protective gear uses an angle grinder inside a large metal pipe, producing bright, dynamic sparks. Industrial and skillful atmosphere.
05

Weld Inspection & NDE

All welds undergo visual inspection. Where required, third-party non-destructive examination is coordinated in accordance with your project specs.

A hand holds an ultrasonic thickness gauge on a metal pipe, with a blurred screen showing readings in the background. The scene conveys precision and technology.
06

Post-Fabrication Processing

Stainless steel components are pickled, passivated, and washed to restore corrosion resistance. Carbon steel components are cleared for delivery staging.

07

Final Quality Check

Each part receives a final inspection and identification sticker to ensure accurate installation at the site.

08

Shipping & Invoicing

Delivery is coordinated with you during the production process. A detailed packing slip accompanies your shipment, followed by an invoice on agreed terms.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can you provide shop drawings?

Yes. Our team prepares detailed 3D Revit MEP drawings and fabrication drawings for every project. These are submitted to you for review and approval before production begins, so there are no surprises on site.

Can you provide welding certificates and welding procedures?

Yes. All of our welders are TSSA-certified, and we can provide full welding certificates and procedures upon request. Proper documentation is essential for regulatory compliance on water treatment projects, and we make sure everything is in order before fabrication begins.

Do you perform NDE testing?

Visual inspection is standard on all welds. Where your project specifications require it, we coordinate third-party non-destructive examination, including radiographic testing, magnetic particle inspection, and dye penetrant testing. Hydrostatic testing is also available if required. These methods are critical to ensuring the structural integrity of tanks, piping, and other water treatment components across industrial applications.

What are your lead times?

Lead times vary depending on the scope and labor hours involved, but we can typically turn around water treatment fabrication in as little as 2–3 weeks. If you have sequencing requirements or need specific spools and components earlier, let us know your order of priority, and we’ll fabricate them accordingly.

Can you confirm whether a specific MK number will work from your drawings?

Yes. Send us your drawings, and we’ll review the MK number against our manufacturing process and fabrication details and get back to you with a clear answer.

What types of water treatment equipment fabrication do you offer?

We fabricate pipe, structural steel, and pressure vessels for a wide array of water treatment plant and facility types, including municipal construction projects, industrial process water systems, and food and beverage processing operations.

Our components support filtration, biological treatment, and other systems where removing contaminants, including bacteria, chemicals, and dissolved solids, is essential to delivering clean water and maintaining water quality.

What are the benefits of working with a specialist fabricator for your water treatment project?

Utilizing a fabricator with decades of experience in water treatment means fewer errors, less rework, and real cost savings over the life of your project. Companies that work with Maplevale benefit from faster turnarounds, efficient coordination between shop and site, and the confidence that every component arrives ready to install. Our customers get a single point of contact from RFQ through delivery, reducing complexity and keeping operations on schedule.
