Components are cut, formed, and fit up before welding begins, with fitters and welders working through each assembly together.
All welding is performed by CWB-certified welders, in accordance with safety standards and approved welding procedures for structural and mechanical fabrication.
Every weld receives a visual inspection. In-house radiographic and dye-penetrant testing is available for shop fabrication, and third-party inspection can be arranged for field welds where your specification requires it.
Stainless steel components are pickled and passivated before shipping. Carbon steel components are inspected and staged for delivery.
Finished components receive a final quality assurance check and identification tagging before shipping via Maplevale’s flatbed, tri-axle stepdeck, or five-ton fleet, or installation on-site through our mobile welding service.
