Why Maplevale Fabrications?

Why Contractors Bring Us to the Job Site

Not every industrial job can wait for a welding shop slot, and not every component on a construction site can be trucked in for traditional welding services. When a project needs welding done where it sits, Maplevale Fabrications sends CWB-certified welders to handle carbon steel and stainless steel welding on-site. We bring the mobile welders, materials, and equipment needed to do the job in the field, not just a welder.

Our mobile welding units carry all the necessary tools, like an engine-driven welder-generator for tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding, metal inert gas (MIG) welding, and stick welding capability, shielding gas for stainless steel work, cutting equipment, and rigging gear. As a mobile welding business, our crews arrive ready rather than waiting on shop tooling.

We also bring inspection capability with us. On-site welding solutions are verified by an independent third-party inspector who performs radiographic and dye-penetrant testing, so quality checks remain separate from the crew doing the work. If your project spec calls for a different in-field quality assurance or testing requirement, tell us, and we will arrange it.

  • CWB certification
  • NSF/ANSI 61 certified facility
  • TSSA registered

Our experienced welders have the extensive knowledge to handle the complete range of straightforward repairs and complex projects on-site.

Fast Turn-Around

We can accommodate both same-day emergency welding call-outs and scheduled field work.

On-Site Weld Inspection & NDE

Radiographic and dye-penetrant testing can be performed on-site, so weld quality is documented before the crew leaves.

CWB-Certified Welders

Every mobile welder is CWB-certified, backed by a facility that also holds NSF/ANSI 61 certification and TSSA registration.

Serving Ontario and Beyond

We travel across central and south-western Ontario, from Lake Erie through London, Woodstock, and Brantford, east past Toronto to Niagara.

How Does a Sewage Pumping Station Work? A Technical Breakdown

Sewage pumping stations are the unsung infrastructure holding municipal wastewater systems together. If you’re specifying, building, or maintaining one, you already know the stakes: a failed pump station doesn’t just inconvenience residents. It backs up sewage, triggers regulatory headaches, and puts the project team in the headlines for the wrong reasons. This breakdown covers what  … Read more

304 vs. 316 Stainless Steel for Water & Wastewater Piping: A Guide to Choosing the Right Grade

Stainless steel is a common default for water and wastewater piping. 304 and 316 are the two grades that come up most often in municipal and industrial applications, and on paper, they can look nearly identical. In practice, however, the wrong choice can mean accelerated corrosion, failed welds, or a material selection that doesn’t withstand  … Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

What does your mobile welding service cover?

Our mobile fabrication and welding service covers on-site welding for pipe and structural steel in carbon steel and stainless steel. If your project involves a different material or scope, contact our team, and we will confirm capability before quoting.

What areas do you serve?

We travel across central and south-western Ontario, from Lake Erie through London, Woodstock, and Brantford, east past Toronto to Niagara. Contact our team to confirm coverage for your project location.

What is your mobile welding truck equipped with?

Our mobile rigs carry an engine-driven welder-generator, TIG, MIG, and stick welding capability, shielding gas for stainless steel work, cutting equipment, and rigging gear, so our crews can handle pipe and structural steel welding without needing shop tooling on-site.

Do you offer weld inspection on-site?

Yes. Radiographic and dye-penetrant testing are performed on-site by an independent third-party inspector, so verification stays separate from the crew doing the work and you get an unbiased result. If your project spec calls for a different in-field quality assurance or testing requirement, let us know and we will arrange it.

What certifications do your welders hold?

Our experienced welders adhere to industry standards and are CWB-certified. Our facility takes safety protocols seriously and holds NSF/ANSI 61 certification and TSSA registration for regulated fabrication work.

Are there limits on the size, material, or process you can handle in the field?

We don’t have a fixed list of exclusions for field work. Every welding job is evaluated individually by our skilled professionals, so if your scope is unusual, contact our team, and we will confirm capability before quoting.

Can you handle same-day emergency call-outs, or only scheduled field work?

We offer both emergency welding services and scheduled maintenance and repairs. We can accommodate same-day service for urgent repairs and regular, reliable service for scheduled fieldwork, depending on your needs.

Is there an additional cost for mobile service?

We estimate mobile projects the same way we estimate shop work, and provide a quote before anything begins. Reach out with your welding needs, and we’ll work with you on an estimate.
